| Just saw this one last night....oh my god. Gotta say, this one really really really got to me! It was heartbreaking! So much so, that I litterally BURST into tears, and when I say BURST into tears I mean it. I was watching it with my girlfriend, and literally at the same time we both started to cry. It was so fucking awful! I cannot cannot cannot believe this happened. What was most chilling? That Jim Jones apparently knew exactly what he was doing from the get go. He knew it, thats why the bastard was documenting EVERYTHING. Its a chilling documentary, one that everyone should watch. This documentary was like a warning, like the holocaust, it serves to show us that things like this should NEVER happen again. Never. So many lives, women, children, babies...died because they followed one lunatic. And all he had to do to grab them was talk to them. Thats it. All he did was use the power of his voice, his ideas, his thoughts. Its almost as if the bastard hypnotized these people with his promises.....all for nothing. Jeez, please people, everybody see this one! Its just as bone chilling as Jesus CAmp...but dare I say even MORE so? Yes, it was sadder and more horrifying the Jesus Camp. And JEsus Camp was a horror movie for me. So is this one, but on a much much bigger scale. Has to be seen to be believed. By the way, thanks for recommending this one! It was because of this thread that I got it. |
