Who's looking for an engaging story in a transformers movie? I went to see it the week after it came out, after mixed reviews. Mostly positive from the crowd going to have fun, and negative from the crowd who hates on anything that isn't the next piece of cinema history. I had a great fucking time. I dug the action scenes, the hot chicks, the giant robots, the insane special effects, and the delicious milk duds I was eating. This movie gave me everything I wanted and MORE from a summer movie. Unlike Pirates 3 and Spidey 3 (which tried to take itself too seriously, and throw in an engaging plot that failed miserably) this movie came out and did what it was supposed to do. Have Giant Robots Kick the shit out of each other, and everything else around them. Bingo. 8/10 |
