Don't know if any of you have watched this but I caught it a very long time ago on VHS and have been looking for it on disk. Jeff Goldblum as the devil himself. Mister Frost is a 1990 psychological thriller film starring Jeff Goldblum as Frost (his first name is never given), a superficially charming but deeply sinister patient in a mental asylum. At the film's beginning a police detective (Alan Bates) visits Frost's palatial French estate to investigate a string of killings, and Frost, with very little prompting, cheerfully admits that he has many bodies buried in his yard. Frost is then placed in an asylum where he doesn't speak for two years, and during this time the police are unable to establish his identity and the detective becomes obsessed by Frost and his crimes. Frost's long silence is broken when he encounters Sarah Day (Kathy Baker), a new doctor at the asylum. Frost tells her that he is, in fact, Satan, and announces that he plans to goad her into murdering him. Day is reluctant to believe he is actually the devil, but as the film goes on strange things happen around her, and she begins to wonder if Frost could be telling the truth.
