Good call on the MOnty Pythons, I believe God appears in form for or another in all their movies. "Dont stand there gawking, like youve never seen the hand of god before!" Ridley Scotts Legend! I believe Tim Currys "Darkness" is as close as well ever get visually to seeing the devil personafied. Well at least the cartoonish image of the devil that some religions like to portray. But, I dont think he really qualifies, its never really clear whether he is the devils son in that movie. Or if its Satan he is speaking to when he is talking to that spooky voice that comes out of the giant fireplace. I always thought it was the devil, but its never really clearly stated in the film. Again, the devil appears..God doesnt. Another thing I notice. God appears in comedies...but almost never in serious dramas! Why is that? I guess its easier to talk about God in a comedy then it is to talk about him in a serious film?
