Your implying I didn't catch the little clues they had placed in the beginning of the movie about aliens. Oh yeah, I got it!!! A gopher could probably pick up on those clues. However, Indy 4 just didn't seem like Indiana Jones to me. Indiana had always been about exploring something within our past that YOU COULD POSSIBLY BELIEVE within that universe in a rough comparison to ours. I'm sorry...crystal ALIEN skulls??? I'm not buying it. There were plenty of other archaeological mysteries they could have explored in our real world and than turned it into a great fictional movie. However, if you were to talk to some people...and if you were to ask them if they would like to see an Indiana Jones movie involving ancient alien remains (strangely made out of crystal) that can somehow resurrect themselves if one of their bones had been returned...they probably would say... no. Side Note: And user ratings from people on the internet can not be completely trusted either. So please don't site examples of internet ratings. They are not always entirely accurate. Plus, alot of people are caught up in the hype of Indiana Jones returning, too. Kind of like when Star Wars Episode One came out. Everyone loved just seeing anything Star Wars because we didn't get to see it in so long. However, after much reflection a lot of people had come to realize that Phantom Menace was actually crap (or a really guilty pleasure). |
