I wonder how much New Jack City contributed to that whole "Rappers love Scarface" thing. In New Jack City Wesley Snipes character is pretty heavily into Scarface much in the same way like most modern rappers. Ive always liked Scarface anyways, i saw it way before it turned into this some sort of pop-culture icon thing and ive always found it cool how this loud mouthed no good thug comes to a new country and becomes a king for a while who goes out in style. Much like quite a few people on this thread, i too prefer Goodfellas or Untouchables over Scarface though, Carlito's Way is solid too and in my books on par with Scarface.
