| I found it wierd. Not good, not bad, but wierd. Mostly because it kind of negated a little bit of what made the previous trilogy great. Those delt with realistic human historical stuff with some supernatural ability. Where as the whole alien thing was a bit odd. Also, each prior chapter really had no mention of other chapters except for one little snarky comment in Crusade when he sees a cave drawing of the Ark and acknowledges it: INDY: It's the Ark of the Covenant. ELSA: You sure? INDY: Pretty sure. That's it. That's the only real alluding to any previous chapter. This one is full of it, what with exposition as to why Denholm Elliot & Connery ain't around, plus an Ark cameo, (also, which you probably didn't catch were drawings of the stones from Temple on the blackboard when Indy was teaching the class), and they even made a reference to "Young Indiana Jones" when Indy said he rode with Pancho Villa. I'll say this, I'll take this over another shit in the mouth of my childhood remake, but it just seemed a little un-Indy while still being Indy. I can't explain it.
