This looks like complete and utter crap- and I know someone is going to haul out the tired "uncanny valley" argument. That's not it. This is just crap animation. This whole thing looks like it's just a terrible Poser cartoon from the 90s, just like all the Star Wars fan cartoons that were made during that era. In fact, a fairly well-known project called "Tripping the Rift" already did this whole 3d animation based on Star Wars thing, only did it earlier and much better, and it's really sad to see a Lucas production being beaten out by a comedy series that started off mostly as a lampoon of Star Wars in the first place. I just can't believe people can look at this crap and say it looks remotely like a good idea- I know that I suck at 3d animation because I actually tried Poser once upon a time. But even given my complete lack of talent, I could have done a better job on this project given the funding these people probably had. And for everyone's information, no this does NOT look like a video game, unless you're talking about the videogames of yesteryear. Star Wars videogames currently look like this:
