My wife hates hospital scenes in movies, and also dislikes adultery scenes. I took her to see Diving Bell and the Butterfly, thinking that the movie's greatness could overcome her objections. Nope. Something about that sewing the eye scene did her in. I found the movie and the story highly interesting and the cast of helpers in the hospital, and visitors were wonderful, but I couldn't help feel relieved when I found out how the real story ended.
