The parts i would have sworn were on location combined with digital effects in post production were actually filmed in front of a greenscreen . It's crazy what these people pulled off . This is more impressive than a Sin City or 300 , where you knew it was all greenscreen and they went for a comic book / surreal look , in Clove they flawlessly recreated actual locations to appear as if they actually filmed in these locales , i never saw anything like it . You'll never once think for a second think that they didn't film in Nyc . This film opens up more possibilities for manhattan based films , and it definitely saves time and money . I know , i'm becoming redundant now , but i'm seriously in awe of what they accomplished . No doubt they raised the bar for visual fx . |
