Forum: JoBlo | | Cloverfield was ruined for me and my gf (which I mentioned in one of the Rant threads) and we had to leave early before the movie was finished. We couldn't get into it at all because of those people, etc etc...we haven't seen a movie in a theatre since then actually. I will pick this up because did like what I see, but the mood was ruined. My only regret is that I can't see it with "fresh eyes". I also wish I had a big screen tv to go with it, but for now I'll take what I can get. One of the best things about this (for me) is that we didn't know what was going on. We didn't get some scientist type telling us everything in the movie. I'm glad that it's up for interpretation...I just hope the sequel doesn't ruin it. |
