My main interest in the movie had to do with the repression and persecution that it promised to reveal, but didn't adequately deliver on. Being an old-fashioned liberal, I don't like repression and persecution of even, say, UFO spotters. For today's left, repression and persecution are fine, as long as they are for the 'proper' causes. |
