| I'm ready to embrace the technology but as of now there isn't a great enough incentive for me to make the switch (ie, I don't have the money). Right now the only reason for me to switch to Blue-Ray would be for new releases; i'll be honest, I want to see Daniel Day Lewis' drool shimmer as it drips from his mouth. But I mean, I really have no interest in upgrading the movies I already have. I've already seen Terminator 2 at the movies, on vhs, and DVD... seeing it at 1080 resolution doesn't really excite me. Also I consider myself more of cinephile... I'm much more interested in seeing movies i've never seen before, as opposed to seeing the same ones at a higher quality... and even now, there are plenty of good movies that haven't even found their way to DVD! |
