It was brilliant and still is the best sci-fi film to me. It is very creepy too, I think it scares me in a way no other movie has because of how little you know about its intentions past the halfway mark. Hearing Hal's last words singing Daisy Bell is unnerving and then all hell breaks loose. I also have to say the beginning 25 minutes is one the most entertaining moments in film history. I love those ape-men! They always make me smile.
