| Well it depends on if you consider Dragonball Z and Pokemon anime. They're popular, but people who are fans of what they consider to be the "good" anime often tell me they disavow it and don't consider it anime, because it sucks so much. On the other hand, non-DBZ anime isn't popular at all, except among a cult, niche audience. So maybe prevalent is a good way to describe it. |
