The article mentions David Fincher (one of my favorite directors) and H. R. Geiger (one of the most original artists I've seen).  The further along the article I read, the more excited I got: R-rated film, CGI, and Heavy Metal.  An adult CGI film, and it was about time, and Heavy Metal would make perfect source material. Then I realized that the word "computer" wasn't mentioned at all, which made it all the more puzzling why they're talking about it as if it had never been done.  No mention at all of the film from the 80s.  Go figure. The less said about that piece of crap the better. I thought it was great and would love to see another one just like it. Fincher and Geiger would be big assets.
