It is very real and scary subject, but I don't think it necessarily works as a concept for a Die Hard film. Oh, no we lost power...what are we gonna do????? 2.Terminator Asian Chick. No matter how many times you hit her...even with a truck...she just won't stop until you are dead. 3.Spider Sense? John McClane miraculously sees a fighter plane in the review mirror of his truck. 4.Where's the Kryptonite? John McClane somehow evades getting killed by the fighter jet...and then later rolls across the top of the plane somehow all while the highway is crumbling around him...and then when it is all over...he doesn't even get hurt all that bad either. Heck, he should have been in a body cast, coma, or body bag after something like that. 5.Unmatched Couple. The whole short forced romance between Matthew (The Geek) and Lucy (The Daughter) was more retarded than a fast food place that sells Monkey Burger Meat. Before I Die Hard, I would Like To Say: Sorry folks. I don't mean to rain on anyone's parade or offend. If you are Die Hard fan of anything Die Hard...well I hope you are not bothered by the reasons I had given above on the latest installment. Pirates 3 was like some kind of retarded drug induced live action kids movie come to life. Spidey 3 at least had some sanity to it by comparison. Also, it had some really cool things in it that made it worthwhile, too; Sandman, The black costume, Venom (sort of), and the action. I admit Spidey 3’s storyline was a bit constipated, but it still was a lot more coherent & entertaining than Pirate’s story. In fact, I enjoyed Spider-Man 3 a lot more with a second viewing. I would actually say I wouldn’t even mind seeing it again, too. However, you would have to pay me some good money to see Pirates 3 again. Pirates's ending fight sequence was mildly entertainng at best. So there really wouldn't be any point for me to see it ever again. At least if I seen Spidey 3 again... 1. I could see Sandman Transform again for the first time.
2. I could see Spider-man kickin' butt in the black costume.
3. I could see some really cool action sequences.
4. I could at least follow the characters on some level and believe in them (even though they did some really stupid things in the film).
