I knew he was great at the action/serious/bad guy stuff, but what I liked were his comedy chops as in Dogma and Galaxy Quest. I know how you feel though, there are just those kind of actors who excel or smply stand out more in niche roles like being bad guys that you miss it when they don't do it as often. For example, I also like John Cusack's stuff, but he mostly does romantic type serious/comedic movies (which are also good, just not always in the mood for). When I saw him in that western he did a while back with John Goodman, I thought this was a guy who should do more westerns. Just like Tom Selleck and Sam Elliot should do nothing but westerns or crime dramas |
