I sort of thought everybody knew this, but Dennis Hopper was the essential villian in Hollywood for quite a long time. So my whole point was...I thought Rickman was fully capable of doing the same thing. Hence, 'what became of' Sure he pops up from time to time, but not really in anything that fulfills his potential. Of course, not having seen Harry Potter stuff, perhaps he shines in that role. But, as Glen pointed out, He does not want to be typecast as a villian. (A shame if you ask me. A natural born villan that guy is.) I guess he prefers roles that give the viewer food for thought as well as entertaining them. |
