Topic: Your Least Favourite/Favourite Moments of Movie CGI Forum: Film Hobbit

Die Another Day + CGI Effects = Bad. Yeah, the CGI on Die Another Day not only looked bad.... but the use of some of those CGI effects were completely and utterly ridiculous within their context, too. 1. Bond riding a snow sking rocket as a big giant laser follows right behind him. 2. Bond para sails away from a tidal wave after he just jumped away from a crumbling ice cliff. 3. Bond is threatened by a villain with a Return of the Jedi fetish. Apparently an arm glove that produces shock bolts of electricity is somehow useful when fighting. 4. Bond escapes off a plane by riding a car out the back while a big giant laser powered by the sun is destroying the big jumbo plane that they are in.
Uh, yeah...if that laser even got within a half a mile of that aircraft...it would have been in trouble just from the heat of it. Very dumb. However, I still enjoyed this movie a lot despite the ridiculous things going on in it. I guess I am starting to understand why everyone likes D4 now.
