I wasn't too sure about Bosworth as Lois, though - she doesn't have the sparky humour that Kidder had. I also loved all the similarities to the earlier movies and the references back, quoted lines etc, plus the fact that the whole film looks so gorgeous. The kid was great, too. My own nitpick is that there's no explanation for Clark disappearing while Supes is in hospital - then again I don't think any of the previous movies worried about Clark's disappearing acts either. I also agree that there's a problem about Lois knowing that Superman is the boy's father, since her memory was wiped by that kiss at the end of II - but, yeah, maybe that will be explained in the sequel, if we get one... |
