Topic: SUPERMAN RETURNS- post when you see it! Forum: Film Hobbit

If the studio expected it to make any more than Batman Begins, then they were complete fools, especially releasing it the week before Pirates... which everyone knew would dominate the box office no matter what went up against it. I wonder why they didn't move Superman's release date a bit? There were plenty of times during the summer when it could have had more room for at least a good second week.
