Well, get yourself a pair of LCD shutter glasses and an eBay account and you're good to go. I have CFTBL in 3D, and in shutter the 3D is awesome. I also have It Came From Outer Space and Vincent Price in House of Wax, probably the best 3D film ever. The best 3D film ever is POLAR EXPRESS Imax-3d ...in the opinion of one who's seen nearly all the '50s stuff, and quite a bit since. The reason you need eBay is that most 3D DVDs are only available in Japan or Australia. Stay away from Razor 3D - not true 3D, just 3D conversions, and I don't recommend Superliving 3D either - also a conversion, although arguably better than Razor's. I don't know what sort of "conversion" you can mean. Afaik, shutter-glasses are shutter-glasses, employing the alternating interlace fields of standard tv to show films originally shot with the usual dual-camera system. Conversion means that they've taken a 2D film and made it look kinda like 3D. Basically, it sucks. Stinks. Whatever. Stay away from 'em, is what I'm saying. Kate who found out the hard way |
