But lets remember that when CHEAP, MONEY-GRUBBING COWARDS like the parasites at Disney didn't support DVD, it was Warner and Toshiba (as well as some others) that did, and created the format. They deserve great credit, despite this misstep. There have been many examples of US industries going along with a cheaper way of doing things. Isn't that why, for all these years, North American television wasn't as good as European television? The VHS victory over Betamax was, in many ways, a victory for a cheaper product. I remember the Amiga computer being outmarketed by Atari as well ( I guess I have to blame Japan for that.) How nice for us that the superior, more expensive format won this time. |
