Thought not. http://www.thecrimson.com/article.aspx?ref=357339 I'll just point out that this article describes a statement made 34 years ago. So I'll provide Bush's contemporary analogue: "Hey bud, lay me out another line of coke." miguel There's no proof he ever did cocaine. The word of a dope dealer drummed up by the DNC?? C'mon, you can do better than that.... Did he ever get drug tested? That would be definitive proof that would stand up in a court of law. Without that, then it's just a bunch of wild innuendo and other assorted liberal bullshit. LOL -- because he did 'public service' because he had a sudden surge of conscience? because he refused to take his physicals when the drug testing began because -- oh he planned to be AWOL? Well for your information clueless, they didn't have reliable drug testing (armed forces or otherwise) until the mid-late 1980s. By then, Bush was long gone from the National Guard. Almost 10 years, as a matter of fact. Nonetheless, random drug testing began in April of 1972 throughout the armed forces, including the TANG. In 1969, the year following Bush's enlistment, the Pentagon notified every unit in the military that it would implement random drug testing soon. That "soon" turned out to be in April of 1972, when the program was in full effect, and the same month that Bush tells us he "gave up" flying. Quote:because when asked he gave a convoluted answer that suggested he HAD but not in awhile -- I suggest you go read some of his weasel worded statements on that subject. Bush claims only that he has not used drugs or alcohol in excess since 1974. Therefore, it is at least a possibility that he was doing so in 1972. We know for a fact that Bush concealed other , lesser, problems resulting from substance abuse. His absence of candor speaks volumes. Jeff |
