I back the leadership of the Dem party as the lesser of two evils (they are politicians, after all, and as such they are all corrupted to one or another degree by what it takes to win public office). I back the *membership* of the party because most Dems (by and large) appear to share many basic values and ideals with me, while the Repubs seem to subscribe to the ruthless, inhumane "values" of the Republican leadership. C. if there were no republicans and only democrats vs marxists, who would you vote for? |
