Skating Rink Kaleidoscope), is a series of light novels written by Rei Kaibara and illustrated by Hiro Suzuhira. The manga adaptation is also written by Rei Kaibara and illustrated by Jun Hasegawa. An anime adaptation of the first arc of the novels, aired weekly on TV Tokyo from October 8, 2005 to December 24, 2005. It is about Tazusa Sakurano, a 16-year-old Japanese Olympic figure skating candidate. During a qualifying round in Montréal, Canada, she falls in the middle of a Triple Lutz and loses consciousness. At the same time, Pete Pumps, a 16-year-old Canadian stunt pilot, dies mid-performance when his stunt plane crashes due to mechanical trouble. Unfortunately for Tazusa, Pete ends up involuntarily inhabiting her body for 100 days. Detective Conan Case Closed, also known as Detective Conan (名探偵 コナン, Meitantei Konan?) in Japan and other countries, is a detective manga and anime series by Gosho Aoyama which has been published in Weekly Shōnen Sunday magazine since 1994. The series depicts the cases of a young private detective who was inadvertently turned into a prepubescent boy by a certain criminal organization. Although his body has been shrunk, he continues to solve many cases and is struggling to solve the mysteries of the criminal organization responsible in order to return to his normal body. Detective School Q Detective School Q (探偵学園Q, Tantei Gakuen Q?) is a manga series, written by Seimaru Amagi and illustrated by Fumiya Satō, originally serialized in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine between 2001 and 2005, spanning 22-tankōbon volumes. It was adapted into an anime series, produced by Pierrot, spanned 45 episodes, and aired in Japan on TBS and the anime television network, Animax, who have also later broadcast it within respective networks across Southeast Asia, South Asia, East Asia, translating and dubbing the series into English and other languages. Detective School Q is the story of a group of young students from Class Q of Dan Detective School (DDS), a prestigious and renowned detective academy founded by Morihiko Dan, the most famous detective in Japan, and the adventures and mysteries they unfold and solve together. They eventually work against Pluto, a mysterious organization which creates almost fool-proof plans that only a handful of detectives can solve. |
