I mean there's proof that they're shy, and they don't have to be autistic to be short on words. Shy is shy. When they're working with editors and the like I'm sure they're a bit more chatty but on a stage in front of gobs of people and bright lights, you tend to clam up a bit. So the general consensus is that they came off arrogant? So what? I mean you already said they probably don't care. So what're repercussions? Are you all not gonna watch their movies, even if they're good? Is there gonna be a boycott of their films? A "We Hate the Coens" Fan Club? Explain to me exactly what's going down? The Coens and McCarthy did a chat with Time Magazine, and if you look into you can see an almost shared state in terms of reactions to their work.
