Topic: What film/s did everyone watch today?? Redux Forum: JoBlo

Margot at the Wedding - ** I really don't know what to think of this movie. Some decent scenes and some good acting but as a whole I didn't particularly like it and Jack Black crying really made me laugh. Somehow, I don't think that is the desired effect. Every single character in this movie is fucked up and it got a little annoying at times. Plus, is it me or are there are some wierd and rather abrupt transitions in this flick? Re-watch: The Faculty - *** Just enormous fun from start to finish. A great, big guilty pleasure from Robert Rodriguez. Not quite up there with Sin City or Once Upon a Time in Mexico or From Dusk Till Dawn but about on the same level as Desperado and Planet Terror.
